Ilex crenata 'Glorie Dwarf' Japanese Holly
Ilex crenata does not like chalky soil, but prefers a neutral to slightly acidic soil that is also quite rich in humus and sufficiently moist during the growing months.
Holly grows in full sun, partial shade and shade, but requires sufficiently moist humus-rich soil. They do not like chalky soil. Very wet soils are not suitable for holly.
