This is a Hydrangea with sepals shaped like a small spoon. This gives the plant a very special appearance. The colour of the flower changes depending on the acidity, from light pink to light blue, but is always very beautiful. The leaves are shiny. This 1 to 1.25 metre high shrub requires a slightly sheltered place in the garden.

All Hydrangeas require a sufficiently humus-rich, moist soil. They prefer to grow in light shade. In full sun, the leaves can droop.
