Very nice novelty with silvery grey-green foliage. Purple-red flowers from August to September. The foliage is striking but soft in colour and does well with dark foliage plants. Recommended. These flowering heather plants come into their own in rock or heather gardens, in large groups and in borders. Summer flowering and are therefore best pruned back annually in spring just above the ground (15-20 cm). They fear lime and therefore require acidic soil. Therefore, it is best to mix acidic soil improver into the soil when planting. Planting distance: 35 to 40 cm, so 6 to 8 plants per m2.
