Azalea (J) 'White Lady' Japanese Azalea
Botanically, Azaleas also belong to the Rhododendrons. In practice, however, they are still distinguished from Rhododendron hybrids by their smaller size and stronger branching.
Azaleas grow best in acidic, humus-rich, moist but permeable soil. This can be achieved by mixing a large amount of peat or DCM Vivimus for acid-loving plants with the soil in the planting hole. Most grow best in more or less shaded places.
